Sistas in the City, is an exclusive social club for women focusing on sisterhood, friendship, fun and education while searching for their ‘happily ever after’. 

Sistas in the City is a club with membership and its focus is to make the single journey an easier road to travel.  Finding and keeping single friends is often hard to do over a certain age, and getting your married friends to socialise with you on their own can be even more difficult.  

As women age, many single women find that their social opportunities become limited.  They may find that most of their girlfriends are married and have different priorities, therefore their network decreases and so with it their social opportunities.   Sistas In The City will bring like minded women together and give them  support in many different areas.

Sistas In The City provides a safe and positive  environment for single women that enriches their lives through education on dating and encouraging them through this difficult time, when 'happily ever after' sounds like a fairy tale.  

Women who find 'happily ever after' often share two things that helped their relationship success.  One of them is having a network of single female friends who are willing to help them meet men and the other is making an effort to engage in social activities. 

You can’t stay at home watching Sex and the City; you have to get out there and live it!”  When we think of Sex and the City we probably think of Samantha and her loose antics, but I am talking about friendship and sistahood.  Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte were really each others family - they were Sisters! 

There are plans in action to expand Sistas in the City so that women in other capital cities have the same opportunities as our Brisbane ‘Sistas’.

Sistas In The City will endeavour to inspire and educate single women and most of all provide a fun forum where they women can meet some 'new' friends. We want to share their successes and their disappointments and hear their stories, because after all everyone has a story!”

Evie Foster is the creator of Sistas in the City.  After working in different areas of business, it is only now that Evie has realised her dream and decided to spread her wings and follow her passion – to help other people achieve!

Evie has been divorced now for 8 years and has fully supported her two daughters during that time.  Evie Foster created Sistas in the City because of her own personal experiences as a single woman.  She has lived it and is living it!  She has the ability, the experience and the professional connections to help others in all areas of their lives. Evie has worked in the personal development industry and has also been one of Brisbane's successful plus size models.  Evie's wants to make the road of the mature single woman an easier and fun one to travel!
